Nolan was diagnosed with severe to profound hearing loss when he was just eight weeks old. Soon after his entire family – all 30 members – enrolled in CHS’s American Sign Language (ASL) class. I wanted our family to talk and connect – just like any other family.  It was an incredible, life-altering gift.  For the first time we spoke to our son – with our hands.
