Recycle your empty inkjet and laser toner cartridges. 

The Canadian Hearing Society has joined forces with RWorld in a new fundraising opportunity.  This program will benefit the environment as well as generate funds for CHS.  It’s EASY, it’s FREE and for every *acceptable* cartridge CHS will receive $1.00! 

Inkjet Cartridges

• Just bring them to CHS, Fundraising, 4^th floor and we will do the rest. OR
• Protect empty cartridge(s) with plastic and put them in a box.
• Apply postage paid label to box. Click here for the Label or visit CHS, Fundraising, 4^th floor.
• Drop into any mailbox or at any post office.  

Laser Toner Cartridges

• Protect cartridges in plastic or newspaper and bring to CHS, Fundraising, 4^th floor.
• CHS will collect and package for pick up by RWorld.

*Some cartridges used in older printers may not be recyclable.   Most HP, Lexmark, Canon and Dell cartridges are recyclable.  Click here for details. 

Environmental Facts:  This year in North America an estimated 336 million recyclable empty printer cartridges will end up in landfill sites.  These plastic cartridges take 1000+ years to decompose.  Recycling your empty cartridges can save the millions of barrels of oil used in their production and divert them from landfill.
