About UsThe Timmins office has been present in our community since September 2001, thanks to a 2-year grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation. The Ministry of Health provided bridge funding for one year that secured the position of GSS Counsellor, which ended March 2004. Following the bridge funding, the Ministry of Health granted long term/permanent funding for the position of GSS Counsellor and .6 Support Staff. In April 2007, CHS received funding from the Ministry of Community & Social Services for the position of a Deaf-Blind Intervenor for a one year term. The CHS office in Timmins is a Porcupine United Way member agency. CHS Timmins Staff
